Karen Fenton Memorial Run 2019
The second annual Karen Fenton Memorial Run was hosted in Ballinora, Waterfall on April 14th, 2019, just two weeks short of Karen’s second anniversary. The event was a huge success, attracting over 400 participants on a very wet day, and succeeded in raising awareness and much needed funds for Ovarian Cancer. There was a huge community involvement on the day, bringing people together in a way that Karen would have been extremely proud of.
The Karen Fenton Memorial Cup and the Máire Comerford Memorial Cup were presented to the first male (Nathan O'Leary) and female (Sorcha Kearney) winners. Máire was another Ballinora native, who sadly passed away, aged 39, 8 months after Karen, also from Ovarian Cancer.

Many thanks to all those who supported such as fantastic event and in particular all those from Ballinora community who helped the Fenton family in the lead up to and on the day of the event.

Kids welcome to join for a fun walk/run.
Or for those athletes amongst the kids they are most welcome to be chipped and timed.
Additional donations online or on the day if desired.
Teams are encouraged. Perhaps chat with your colleagues, form a team or teams and compete!
Proceeds will go towards Ovarian Cancer support and research.
